Biography

Dr. Jun Chen was born in China. After completing her medical degree and residency at Beijing Medical University she immigrated to the United States and earned her masters of science degree in molecular biology at Highlands University in New Mexico.

While pursuing her degree in molecular biology, Dr. Chen found that her compassion for hands-on patient care persisted, so she chose to resume her career in medicine. Dr. Chen completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.

Following her residency she completed a fellowship in nephrology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Chen joined North Texas Kidney Disease Associates in 2008.

Dr. Chen and her husband have one son. She enjoys meeting people from different cultures.
