Robert A. Farkas, MD

Dr. Robert Farkas was born in New York and, following his MBA from the New York University Graduate School of Business, he received his medical training at the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biochemical Sciences. He completed his residency and fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Tx., where he served as Clinical Assistant Professor in Internal Medicine/Nephrology. Dr. Farkas is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and Nephrology and is serving as Chief of the Department of Medicine at Medical City Hospital of Dallas. He has had a private practice in Dallas since 1987 and joined North Texas Kidney Disease Associates in 2016.

 

Dr. Farkas is married, has one child, and enjoys reading and woodworking in his spare time.
