Kristine was born and raised in the Philippines and earned her
Bachelor of Science degree from De La Salle University
in Manila in 2005. Dr. Gapuz pursued her Doctor of
Medicine degree at St. Luke’s College of Medicine –
William H. Quasha Memorial, Quezon City,
Philippines, following which she embarked on her
residency training in Internal Medicine and completed
her fellowship training in Nephrology at St. Luke’s
Medical Center, Quezon City.
In 2019, Dr. Gapuz expanded her medical training
internationally by undertaking residency training in
Internal Medicine at Metropolitan Hospital Center in
New York City. Following this, she pursued her passion
in Nephrology with fellowship training again at the
University of Illinois at Chicago until June 2024.
